The Tumbling Studio will reopen June 1st. As we ease back to normal we will be making many changes to keep the Studio safe for our students.
Student drop off/ pick up
Students will be dropped off at the north end of the building and met by an instructor. You will also pick up your child via the car line at the same door. Students wil be released from class to the covered exit door 5 minutes before the scheduled end of class. Your child will be brought to you in your car via the drop off and pick up line. The instructor will bring your child to you, please do not leave your car. We will be monitoring the number of people in the building at all times.
No Parent watch weeks
During this phase we will not allow watch weeks. We will however continue to video and share on our social media with #, your child's first name, last name initial and the word tumbling. Example: #nataliebtumbling Additionally, we will have virtual watch weeks.
Students will be asked to sanitize hands when entering and leaving the Studio. We will also have hand sanitizing stations after each station.
We are currently not requiring students to wear masks when socially distanced. Instructors that are within close proximity for spotting will wear a mask. However, you may send your child in a mask if you wish.
Individual Lesson Plans
All of our lesson planning has been adapted for the situation and 6 foot distancing recommendation. Individual warmups in designated areas and individual stations for students to practice and learn will be implemented in all classes. If stations require spotting, the instructor will wear a mask when spotting until no longer recommended by the guidelines.
Normal monthly tuition will resume on June 1st.
Numbers in Studio
We will allow the recommended number of people as dictated by square footage and 6 foot social distancing guidelines. We will also have an attendance log.
We will begin allowing make-ups later once everyone has had a chance to move through the reopening process.
Instructors, staff and students may not enter the building within 24 hours of a fever or cough, adhering to the quarantine recommendations if anyone in the household has COVID-19.If we recieve notification of a positive case from the Leavenworth County Health Department, we will notifiy all in attendance on date we are given.
Additional cleaning measures
Additional cleaning measures will be in place for all equipment used and surfaces touched in compliance.
